Hi! I am so pleased to be teaching first grade again at Clear Sky! Each year, I love to build positive relationships with the children in my class and help them enjoy learning. I want them to feel treasured (because they are). So many exciting opportunities for growth take place in first grade!
My husband, Matt, and I have a son (David), daughter (Jessica), and son-in-law (Michael). Our grandson Easton will turn two this year, and he is such a blessing in our lives! We enjoy getting outdoors to hike. We also love playing games and traveling together.
My absolute favorite hobby is reading. It is such a pleasure to teach young learners and to encourage their love for reading, as well! I am sincerely looking forward to working with your families this year.

Hello! My name is Crystal Dixon and I am thrilled to be your child’s teacher this year. I am so excited about the learning adventures that await us and cannot wait to get to know your children. I look forward to getting to work together as a team to make your child’s first grade experience amazing!
I live here in The Meadows with my husband, Shane, and our daughters Claire (13) and Marissa (11). We also have two dogs (Daisy and Benny). I absolutely love to be in the mountains and go as often as I can. I enjoy skiing, hiking, camping, and playing volleyball as a family.
I have a B.S. in Early Childhood Education and a Master’s in Elementary Education. It is amazing to see the learning and growth that happens in first grade and I am so excited to be a part of this journey!
I look forward to all the memories we are going to make together as a classroom family!

Hi friends!
I am so excited to be teaching first grade at Clear Sky again this year and am grateful I get to share it with all of you! A little bit about me:
My husband, Jake, and I moved to Castle Rock six years ago with our four daughters: Joylyn (19), Averi (17), Icelyn (7), and Ember (6). As a family, we love to be outside! We have been on some crazy adventures, and enjoy discovering beautiful places off the beaten path.
In my spare time, I love to garden, sing, paddleboard, play games, camp, hike, read, and learn new things.
I am so blessed to have the privilege of rediscovering the wonder of reading and learning each year with our amazing first graders. I am looking forward to this school year and the journey we are embarking on together.

Mrs. Hagan
Hello! I’m looking forward to another fun year of learning at Clear Sky! I am thrilled to have the opportunity to help your children learn and to develop their unique talents and skills!
My family and I (husband Truitt and sons Micah, sixth grade, and Caleb, fourth grade) moved to Castle Rock from Chicago five years ago. We love playing games together, reading, watching football, spending time with our extended family, and getting to spend time outside enjoying such a beautiful area.
I have a BA in History and a MA in Historical Administration and Public History. This will be my first year of teaching at Clear Sky, but I have been involved as a parent volunteer, substitute teacher, and an educational assistant. It is such an exciting blessing to have the opportunity to teach first grade this year!
