Hello Clear Sky Families!

It is hard to believe that we will be entering October this week! With Halloween coming up this month and with parents selecting Halloween costumes for their children, please refrain from sending your child to school with an overly gorish/scary costume. Because we are an elementary school, some of our younger students may get easily afraid with overly scary costumes. Also, please make sure that costumes do not contain any look-alike weapons. For example, some kids like to dress up like a ninja. Some of those costumes may come with swords or numchucks. Please do not send in those accessories with that type of costume.

We will be having our annual Halloween parade this year. This will take place roughly at 9:15am on Thursday, October 31st. Parents and guardians are welcome to come and watch the parade. We are asking that your child comes to school dressed in their costume and that they bring a change of clothes with them so that they are able to change out of their costumes. Please contact your child’s teacher with any questions or concerns regarding Halloween.

Finally, it has been brought to my attention that some of our students are either being dropped off early or arriving at school early and are unsupervised by their parent/guardian on our playground. We do have our Bison Buddies program here at Clear Sky and they tend to use our playground before school. They are responsible for supervising the students who are enrolled in their program only. While your child is welcome to use the playground before school, they must be supervised by a parent/guardian. Please contact our Main Office at 720-387-5900 with any questions or concerns that you may have. Thank you for your cooperation with this matter.

Hello Parents.

The health room is in need of gently used clothes for kindergarten through 6th grade. Including, long/ short sleeve shirts, pants/shorts, socks, undies, shoes and jackets/sweatshirts for the 2024-2025 school year. If you have donations you would like to consider, please have your student bring those items to the front office. Your donations are greatly appreciated.

All clubs will be available on MySchoolBucks. Add your student, fill out waiver/form, load your cart and checkout! If there is not a cost you will still need to go through the checkout process the same.

Visitors and Volunteers

All visitors and volunteers must check in the front office with a photo ID to get a pass to enter the building all times.

Early Check Out

If you are needing to check out your child/children we ask that you arrive before 3:45 PM. We will not call your child down until you arrive at school and sign them out. Please remember to bring a photo ID to verify who you are. After 3:45 PM we will not be able to call your child to the office. As teachers are preparing for the end of the day, it causes too much confusion and interruption.

End Of That Day Messages

End of day messages should be called in no later than 3:30 PM. Please call the main line at 303-387-5900 and select option 2. End of the day notes get sent to classrooms at 3:45PM. Please remember end of the day notes are for last minute changes and emergencies, not reminders.

Attendance Line

If your child will be absent due to illness or personal reasons, please call the attendance line at 303-387-5902 or call the main line at 303-387-5900 and select option 1.

Leave the following information:

• Child's name
• Date of the absence
• Parent name
• Teacher name

Reason for the absence (a reason must be given for the absence to be considered excused).

We are required to verify absences that are not reported. Please help us with this procedure by calling your child's absence as soon as possible.
